ProB top team - SG Schwelmer Baskets (17-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat ninth ranked Hannover Tigers (8-12) 76-71. SG Schwelmer Baskets made 30-of-38 charity shots (78.9 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Hannover Tigers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American Julius Coles (193-89, college: Canisius) who scored 26 points and 8 rebounds. Center Andreas Kronhardt (204-89) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. American guard Ashanti Cook (188-84, college: Georgetown) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals and swingman Jan-Peter Prasuhn (198-82) added 19 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. SG Schwelmer Baskets maintains first position in Group North with 17-3 record.
