The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked TSV Amicitia's (9-8) road victory over 9th ranked Friendsfactory Germering (6-11) 61-56 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Friendsfactory Germering won third quarter 13-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American swingman Kellindra Zackery (182-88, college: Newman) who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Alexandra Shaw (176) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Viktoria Wohlers (190) who recorded 12 points and 7 rebounds and the former international forward Magdalena von Geyr (180-84) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively. TSV Amicitia moved-up to seventh place in South. Loser Friendsfactory Germering keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. TSV Amicitia will face higher ranked TG 1889 Sandhausen (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
