BBL top team - Brose Bask. (21-2) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (8-16) in Bamberg 88-68. The game was mostly controlled by Brose Bask.. EnBW Ludwigsburg managed to win third quarter 26-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding EnBW Ludwigsburg to just 6 points in second quarter. Brose Bask. made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. The winners were led by Slovenian Bostjan Nachbar (207-80) who scored that evening 15 points and 6 rebounds and American-FYR Macedonian forward Jeremiah Massey (202-82, college: Kansas St.) supported him with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Even 14 points and 6 rebounds by American power forward John Turek (206-83, college: Nebraska) did not help to save the game for EnBW Ludwigsburg. His fellow American import guard Wayne Bernard (190-81, college: Davidson, agency: Interperformances) added 14 points. Five Brose Bask. and four EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Brose Bask. have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Brose Bask. will meet league's second-placed Bayern Muenchen on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
