There was no surprise in Wien where 5th ranked Redwell Gunners Oberwart (12-10) was defeated by first ranked BC Vienna (17-5) 81-65 on Monday. The game without a history. BC Vienna led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BC Vienna had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was British power forward Ryan Richards (212-91, agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. The former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-78) chipped in 16 points and 9 assists. BC Vienna's coach Andrea Maghelli used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
