No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Ploiesti (17-7) defeated at home 9th ranked CSU Sibiu (12-12) 79-66. The game without a history. Ploiesti led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for the former international center Catalin Burlacu (210-77, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Serbian Predrag Miletic (193-84) contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Ploiesti players scored in double figures. American center Christopher Lee (206-84, college: S.Carolina St., agency: Duran International) replied with 7 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Ivan Jenkins (180-83, college: Lambuth) added 16 points in the effort for CSU Sibiu. Ploiesti have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Targu Mures and U.Mobitel.CN.
