Liga Nationala top team - CSM Targoviste (21-1) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Cluj Napoca (4-17) 95-39. The game without a history. CSM Targoviste led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Cluj Napoca to just 5 points in third quarter and to 11 points in second half. CSM Targoviste held Cluj Napoca to an opponent 24.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 60.0 percent accuracy of the winners. CSM Targoviste forced 26 Cluj Napoca turnovers and outrebounded them 42-23 including a 30-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. CSM Targoviste looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Cluj Napoca's players. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Andreea Hutanu (185-88) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds.
