Regular Season Round 47: BC Kyiv - Azovmash 62-71

There was no surprise when 14th ranked BC Kyiv (7-27) was defeated at home by second ranked Azovmash (22-10) 71-62. The game without a history. Azovmash led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Lynn Greer (186-79, college: Temple) who led the winners and scored 16 points and 5 assists. His fellow American import guard Ronald Murray (193-79, college: Shaw) accounted for 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Azovmash players scored in double figures. International forward Vyacheslav Bobrov (201-92) came up with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international Artem Shvets (200-85) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for BC Kyiv in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Azovmash maintains second place with 22-10 record having four points less than leader Budivelnyk. BC Kyiv at the other side stay dead last with 27 lost games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
