Another upset was a game between TBB Trier (11-13) and BBC Bayreuth (11-14), which took place in Bayreuth. Higher ranked TBB Trier lost to fourteenth ranked BBC Bayreuth in a road game 71-75. BBC Bayreuth's next round opponent will be higher ranked EWE Baskets (#3) in Oldenburg and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
