Rather predictable result when seventh ranked Timisoara (12-10) rolled over at home 9th ranked Sp.Studentesc (9-13) 84-61 on Saturday. Timisoara dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Sp.Studentesc's 34. Timisoara forced 36 Sp.Studentesc turnovers. Quite impressive performance for American guard Tiffany Brown (165-86, college: Georgia South) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 6 steals. Serbian guard Biljana Pesovic (180-83) contributed with 20 points, 5 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Timisoara's coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Serbian center Vladinka Erak (190-84) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian guard Tamara Bajic (172-87) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Sp.Studentesc. Timisoara maintains seventh place with 12-10 record. Loser Sp.Studentesc keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost.
