Regular Season Round 21: Wulfen - Stahnsdorf 85-71

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked BSV Wulfen's (9-12) home victory over 12th ranked RSV Eintracht (6-15) 85-71 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-71. BSV Wulfen forced 19 RSV Eintracht turnovers. RSV Eintracht was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Anthony Young (200-89, college: Ky Wesleyan) stepped up and scored 28 points and 6 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Antonio Houston (196-88, college: Catawba) chipped in 25 points. Four RSV Eintracht players scored in double figures. BSV Wulfen moved-up to eighth place in Group North, which they share with BSW Sixers. Loser RSV Eintracht keeps the twelfth position with 15 games lost. BSV Wulfen will face Dorsten (#11) on the road in the next round. RSV Eintracht will play against Spot Up Medien Baskets in Braunschweig.
