There was no surprise when 11th ranked KuSG Leimen (1-17) lost at home to ninth ranked Friendsfactory Germering (7-11) 68-58 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Friendsfactory Germering. KuSG Leimen was better in third quarter 17-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for the former international forward Magdalena von Geyr (180-84) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Viktoria Wohlers (190) contributed with 10 points for the winners. American guard Johnette Walker (173-87, college: Radford) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Canadian guard Lauren Taal (175) added 20 points and 4 steals in the effort for KuSG Leimen.
