Top ranked SG Schwelmer Baskets (17-5) recorded its fifth loss in Sandersdorf on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by ninth ranked BSW Sixers (10-12) 90-73. The game was mostly controlled by BSW Sixers. SG Schwelmer Baskets managed to win second period 27-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Power forward Ralph Schirmer (203-86) fired 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. American guard Jeremie Simmons (188, college: Ohio St., agency: SDJ Sports) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Four BSW Sixers players scored in double figures. SG Schwelmer Baskets' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. BSW Sixers moved-up to seventh place in Group North, which they share with MTV Wolfenbuettel. SG Schwelmer Baskets at the other side still keep top position with five games lost.
