Very expected game when 9th ranked Fisica (5-11) lost to fourth ranked Ovarense (11-5) in Torres Vedras 64-76. Fisica was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Fisica was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international forward Miguel Miranda (205-78, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Spanish power forward Sergi Coll (204-82) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Edson Rosario (193-82) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Joao Santos (193-83) scored 8 points. Fisica's coach Ivan Kostourkov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ovarense moved-up to third place, which they share with Academica. Newly promoted Fisica dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Lusitania. Ovarense will play against Lusitania (#8) in Angra in the next round where they are favorite.
