Rhein Main Baskets managed to secure a 4-point victory 72-68. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Eisvogel Freiburg won fourth quarter 21-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was guard Alyssa Karel (170-89, college: Wisconsin) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Denise Beliveau (180-89, college: New Hampshire) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Brooque Williams (176, college: California, PA) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and forward Mariesa Greene (183-87, college: Barry) added 14 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Eisvogel Freiburg's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rhein Main Baskets moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Freiburg. Eisvogel Freiburg lost fourth consecutive game. Rhein Main Baskets' next round opponent will be higher ranked Wildcats Wolfenbuettel (#3) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
