Thirteenth-ranked DniproAzot (11-25) made lots of trouble for fifth ranked Khimik (21-13) in Dniprodzerzhynsk. The visitors from Yuzhny managed to secure only three-point victory 75-72. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Montenegrin-Bosnian swingman Suad Sehovic (196-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points and 7 rebounds. American-Bulgarian point guard Willie Deane (188-80, college: Purdue, agency: Higher Vision Sports) contributed with 18 points for the winners. American guard Ronald Davis (190-82, college: Wisc.-Milwaukee) replied with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import guard Eric Devendorf (193-87, college: Syracuse) added 16 points and 4 assists in the effort for DniproAzot.
