Very expected game when 11th ranked TED Ankara (8-15) lost at home to third ranked Kayseri (17-5) 82-65 on Sunday. The game without a history. Kayseri led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kayseri forced 23 TED Ankara turnovers. Strangely TED Ankara outrebounded Kayseri 50-35 including a 22-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for Greek forward Evanthia Maltsi (180-78, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Naturalized American LaToya Sanders (191-86, college: N.Carolina) accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four Kayseri players scored in double figures. American center Marcedes Marie Walker (191-86, college: Pittsburgh, agency: LBM Management) came up with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Nigerian swingman Mactabene Amachree (190-78, college: Abil.Christian) added 9 points and 11 rebounds respectively for TED Ankara in the defeat. TED Ankara's coach Kaan Artun rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Kayseri maintains third place with 17-5 record having just three points less than leader Fenerbahce.
