Leader Usak delivered the twentiethth victory on Saturday night. This time they beat 9th ranked Vestel (15-12) 84-76 in Manisa. The guests trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 8 points. Usak forced 19 Vestel turnovers. It was a great evening for American forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Erdinc Balto (207-90, agency: EM-PA) helped adding 17 points. The best for the losing side was forward Kerem Ozkan (201-88, agency: EM-PA) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Justin Knox (205-89, college: N.Carolina) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Four Vestel players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Usak. They maintain first place with 20-7 record. Vestel at the other side keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. Usak will meet at home Final Genclik (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Vestel will play against Istanbulspor (#17) and hope to secure a win.
