Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Sofia: Lukoil Academik (#1) and Levski Sofia (#2). Lukoil Academik (19-2) won against visiting Levski Sofia (17-4) 98-94. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Levski Sofia. Lukoil Academik made 28-of-32 charity shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Lukoil Academik have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 19-2 record. Levski Sofia at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Lukoil Academik will play against Euroins Cherno More (#7) in Varna in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Levski Sofia will play on the road against Spartak Pleven (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
