BC Kyiv was better in third quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Khimik forced 19 BC Kyiv turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Canadian guard Devoe Joseph (193-90, college: Oregon, agency: Interperformances) who scored 22 points. Montenegrin-Bosnian swingman Suad Sehovic (196-87) chipped in 8 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Maksim Sandul (207-91) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and international forward Vyacheslav Bobrov (201-92) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Khimik. They moved-up to third place.
