The most important game in the last round took place in Rotenburg between second ranked SV Halle Lions (13-9) and twelfth ranked Rotenburg/Scheessel (7-15) on Saturday night. SV Halle Lions were defeated by Rotenburg/Scheessel in a tough game on the road 61-67. SV Halle Lions were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. American guard Vanessa House (170-88, college: W.Virginia) fired 21 points and 4 assists for the winners. The other American import power forward Samantha Meissel (188-88, college: Indianapolis) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Rotenburg/Scheessel players scored in double figures. Canadian forward Tamara Tatham (185-85, college: Massachusetts) produced 18 points and 8 rebounds and Slovakian guard Michaela Abelova (183-85) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Newly promoted Rotenburg/Scheessel maintains twelfth position with 7-15 record. SV Halle Lions at the other side keep the second place with nine games lost. They share the position with Wolfenbuettel.
