There was no surprise in Kaunas where 7th ranked Utena (5-23) was defeated by second ranked Sirenos (22-6) 74-70. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Utena was ahead by 8 points after three quarters before a 25-13 charge of Sirenos, which allowed them to win the game. They made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. The winners were led by forward Monika Petrauskaite (182-92) who scored that evening 21 points and guard Indre Kersulyte (171-89) supported her with 14 points. Even 11 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by the former international guard Egle Zygelyte (166-84) did not help to save the game for Utena. Guard Irma Raugaite (176-84) added 17 points and 4 assists for lost side. Sirenos maintains second position with 22-6 record having just two points less than leader Kibirkstis-Tiche.
