Third-ranked Tim-Scuf (18-12) gave a tough game to second ranked Elizabeth-Basket (23-7) in Kyiv. The visitors from Kirovograd managed to secure only three-point victory 91-88. However their fans expected easier game. Elizabeth-Basket made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. International swingman Alina Iagupova (186-92, agency: LBM Management) nailed a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and American point guard Stephanie Raymond (170-85, college: N.Illinois) accounted for 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Krystyna Matsko (182-91) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and center Miriam Uro-Nilie (190-94) added 22 points respectively for Tim-Scuf in the defeat. Four Elizabeth-Basket and five Tim-Scuf players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Elizabeth-Basket. They maintain second place with 23-7 record behind leader Dynamo. Defending champion Tim-Scuf keeps the third position with 12 games lost.
