No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Craiova (20-8) beat at home 6th ranked U-Mobitelco (18-10) 80-72 on Sunday. U-Mobitelco was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 29-18 charge of Craiova, which allowed them to win the game. U-Mobitelco was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for American guard LeVar Seals (195-82, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 6 rebounds. The former international center Ionut Dragusin (221-85) contributed with 8 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. American forward Sean Barnette (198-86, college: Wingate) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and Canadian swingman Stephen Ross (201-80, college: Santa Clara, agency: Court Side) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for U-Mobitelco. Five U-Mobitelco players scored in double figures. Craiova maintains fourth position with 20-8 record. Loser U-Mobitelco keeps the sixth place with ten games lost.
