There was no surprise in Zaporozhye where 7th ranked Cherkasy (21-18) was defeated by third ranked Ferro-ZNTU (24-14) 91-74 on Monday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-74. Ferro-ZNTU looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import R.T.
