The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Rudupis as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Rudupis defeated 3rd placed Juventus in Prienai 78-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Juventus. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-14. But Juventus won second period 22-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rudupis made 7 blocks. 25 personal fouls committed by Juventus helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
