Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked BC Donetsk (23-16) outplayed at home bottom-ranked BC Kyiv (9-30) 95-73 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by BC Donetsk. BC Kyiv was better in fourth quarter 33-29. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC Donetsk dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to BC Kyiv's 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by BC Kyiv's players. It was a good game for the former international center Kyrylo Fesenko (213-86) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Denys Lukashov (190-89) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
