Regular Season Round 29: ETB Wohnbau - Ehingen 77-75

Date: March 28, 2013
A very interesting game took place in Essen. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (15-14) to twelfth ranked ETB Wohnbau (12-17) 77-75 on Thursday evening. Ehingen/Urspringschule was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 23-19 charge of ETB Wohnbau, which allowed them to win the game. American players dominated the game. The best player for the winners was forward Logan Stutz (205-88, college: Washburn) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Joey Henley (196-85, college: Sacred Heart) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Andre Calvin (201-85, college: Drake) produced 18 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Taylor Rohde (205-90, college: Alaska-Anch.) added 13 points respectively for the guests. Five ETB Wohnbau and four Ehingen/Urspringschule players scored in double figures. Ehingen/Urspringschule's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. ETB Wohnbau moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Finke Baskets and Crailsheim. Ehingen/Urspringschule at the other side keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost. ETB Wohnbau's next round opponent will be higher ranked Duesseldorf Baskets (#3) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
