Everything could happen in Ankara at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Pi Koleji and 12th ranked Final Genclik had identical 12-17 record. This time Pi Koleji used a home court advantage and outscored the opponent from Bursa 96-74. The game was mostly controlled by Pi Koleji. Final Genclik was better in third quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pi Koleji dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Final Genclik's 40. 27 personal fouls committed by Final Genclik helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Mustafa Gucyetmez (188-80) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists and power forward Omer Tayfun Karabey (-88) added 16 points respectively. Final Genclik's coach Ali Ozbay gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Pi Koleji (13-17) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Istanbul B.B. Final Genclik at the other side dropped to the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. Pi Koleji's next round opponent will be higher ranked Darussafaka (#7) in Istanbul and it may be quite challenging game.
