Rather predictable result when eleventh ranked Walter Tigers (14-15) won against 15th ranked BBC Bayreuth (11-17) in Tuebingen 86-82. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It looked good early as BBC Bayreuth took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Walter Tigers had a 17-14 second period charge getting the lead and BBC Bayreuth was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 82-86. 28 personal fouls committed by BBC Bayreuth helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated also this game. The best player for the winners was Reggie Redding (196-88, college: Villanova) who scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.
