Regular Season Round 30: Duesseldorf - ETB Wohnbau 65-61
Date: March 30, 2013
Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked ETB Wohnbau (12-18) was defeated on the road by third ranked Duesseldorf Baskets (20-10) 65-61. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 17-8. But ETB Wohnbau won third quarter 20-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American point guard Gary Johnson (188-82, college: Cent.Florida) who led his team to a victory with 15 points. Naturalized American forward Adam Waleskowski (204-82, college: Florida St., agency: Three Eye Sports) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Duesseldorf Baskets' coach Murat Didin used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American swingman Terren Harbut (198-83, college: Ohio) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Aaron Cook (186-83, college: Hartford, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) added 12 points and 8 assists in the effort for ETB Wohnbau. Duesseldorf Baskets maintains third position with 20-10 record having just three points less than leader Vechta. ETB Wohnbau at the other side keeps the twelfth place with 18 games lost.
