Everything went according to plan when eleventh ranked Istanbul B.B. (14-17) defeated at home 13th ranked Gelisim (12-19) 91-82. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 3-point deficit before their 31-19 run, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Jayme Miller (203-85) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points and 21 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners.
