Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Erdemir (10-15) defeated at home 13th ranked Turk Telekom (7-18) 77-64. They outrebounded Turk Telekom 41-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. American swingman Sean Marshall (198-85, college: Boston Coll.) stepped up and scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and his fellow American import guard Gerrod Henderson (192-78, college: Louisiana Tech) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Croatian power forward Drago Pasalic (208-84) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds and Slovenian power forward Miha Zupan (205-82) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Erdemir maintains ninth place with 10-15 record. Turk Telekom at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with 18 games lost. Erdemir will play against higher ranked TED Kolejliler (#7) in Ankara in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Turk Telekom will play at home against Banvit BK (#3) in Balikesir and hopes to get back on the winning track.
