An interesting game took place in Ludwigsburg where higher ranked Artland Dragons (16-13) were upseton the court of seventeenth ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (11-19) 82-75 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Artland Dragons. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-11. But Artland Dragons won second period 18-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when EnBW Ludwigsburg won last quarter 29-24. They made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Five Artland Dragons players scored in double figures. EnBW Ludwigsburg maintains seventeenth position with 11-19 record. Loser Artland Dragons keep the sixth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Phoenix Hagen. EnBW Ludwigsburg will meet higher ranked Phoenix Hagen (#6) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Artland Dragons will play against BBC Bayreuth and hope to secure a win.
