Fourteenth-ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (12-18) gave a tough game to second ranked EWE Baskets (20-8) in Frankfurt. The visitors from Oldenburg managed to secure only two-point victory 65-63. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Deutsche Bank Skyliners.
