There was a minor upset in Weissenfels where 12th ranked TBB Trier (13-17) was defeated by fourteenth ranked Mitteldeutscher BC (13-17) 84-72. TBB Trier was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 53-39 second half run of Mitteldeutscher BC. They made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The game was also dominated by American players. It was an exceptional evening for forward Devin Uskoski (201-85, college: Rocky Mountain) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 8 rebounds. Mitteldeutscher BC moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Bremerhaven and TBB Trier. TBB Trier lost fourth consecutive game. Mitteldeutscher BC's next round opponent will be higher ranked ALBA Berlin (#5) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
