There was a minor upset in Weissenfels where 12th ranked TBB Trier (13-17) was defeated by fourteenth ranked Mitteldeutscher BC (13-17) 84-72. TBB Trier was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 53-39 second half run of Mitteldeutscher BC. They made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game.
