BBL top team - Brose Bask. (24-6) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat sixteenth ranked BBC Bayreuth (12-19) 95-77. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 95-77. Brose Bask. made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by BBC Bayreuth helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American swingman Casey Jacobsen (198-81, college: Stanford) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points. The other American import point guard Alex Renfroe (191-86, college: Belmont) contributed with 13 points and 5 assists for the winners. American center Gary McGhee (208-88, college: Pittsburgh) replied with 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American-Puerto Rican guard Kevin Hamilton (193-84, college: Holy Cross) added 17 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for BBC Bayreuth.
