There was a minor upset when 15th ranked New Yorker Phantoms (12-19) lost on the road to seventeenth ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (12-20) 80-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by EnBW Ludwigsburg. New Yorker Phantoms managed to win second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by international Lucca Staiger (196-88, college: Iowa St.) who scored that evening 22 points and American power forward John Turek (206-83, college: Nebraska) supported him with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. Even 11 points by American guard Courtney Pigram (185-85, college: E.Tenn.St.) did not help to save the game for New Yorker Phantoms.
