Regular Season Round 25: Mladost Zemun - Napredak K. 67-93

The most interesting game of round 25 was a home defeat of 6th ranked Mladost Zemun (13-12) by third ranked Napredak Rubin (14-11) who outscored them by 26 points 93-67. The game was mostly controlled by Napredak Rubin. Mladost Zemun managed to win third quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Napredak Rubin had a 32-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Mladost Zemun's players. Guard Luka Milojevic (193-91) stepped up and scored 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and point guard Vladimir Radmanovac (191-82) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side forward Nenad Banjanin (201-85, college: E.Michigan) responded with 17 points and forward Nemanja Draskovic (204-91) scored 8 points and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Napredak Rubin went down to fourth position due to points difference, which they share with Morava. Mladost Zemun at the other side keeps the sixth place with 12 games lost. Napredak Rubin is looking forward to face Proleter Naftagas (#7) in Zrenjanin in the next round. Mladost Zemun will play on the road against the league's second-placed Crnokosa in Kosjeric and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
