Top ranked Lukoil Academik (23-3) recorded its third loss in Sofia on Monday night. Hosts were edged by third ranked Balkan (18-8) 87-86. It ended at the same time the 13-game winning streak of Lukoil Academik. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was Serbian forward Vladimir Panic (194-82) who scored 28 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists.
