The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Spartak Vidnoye dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Nadezhda Orenburg's 34. They outrebounded Nadezhda Orenburg 46-31 including a 34-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. American power forward Candice Dupree (188-84, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import Seimone Augustus (183-84, college: LSU) chipped in 20 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Spartak Vidnoye's coach Pokey Chatman used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard DeWanna Bonner (193-87, college: Auburn, agency: Josep and Nicolas) responded with 28 points and 6 rebounds and international Elena Danilochkina (186-86) scored 16 points.
