Very predictable result in Istanbul where second ranked Fenerbahce Ulker (22-5) defeated 15th ranked Antalya (6-21) 90-78 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Fenerbahce Ulker. Antalya managed to win fourth quarter 28-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fenerbahce Ulker looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Bosnian-Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic (203-89) who scored 23 points. The former international center Oguz Savas (212-87) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Fenerbahce Ulker's coach Ertugrul Erdogan used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Jordan Theodore (182-89, college: Seton Hall) who recorded 24 points, 9 assists and 4 steals and Montenegrin-Serbian center Vladimir Golubovic (213-86, agency: Beo Basket) added 24 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Four Antalya players scored in double figures. Fenerbahce Ulker maintains second place with 22-5 record having just two points less than leader Galatasaray. Loser Antalya keeps the fifteenth position with 21 games lost. Fenerbahce Ulker will meet Aliaga (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
