Leader Usak delivered the twentieth fifth win on Saturday night. This time they beat 18th ranked Izmir BSB (3-30) 71-63. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Izmir BSB won third quarter 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Izmir BSB 37-26 including 32 on the defensive glass. 28 personal fouls committed by Izmir BSB helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American forward Eric Buckner (208-90, college: Georgia St., agency: David Lee services) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Cengiz Aydin Ergen (-88) who recorded 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Tamer Gurpinar (-92) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Usak have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 25-8 record.
