TBL top team - Galatasaray (24-3) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Gaziantep (10-17) 92-67. The game without a history. Galatasaray led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Puerto Rican point guard Carlos Arroyo (188-79, college: FIU, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 assists. Senegalese center Boniface Ndong (213-77) helped adding 10 points and 10 rebounds. Five Galatasaray players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American power forward Joey Dorsey (206-83, college: Memphis, agency: FCM) with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and American-Bulgarian point guard Andre Collins (183-82, college: Loyola, MD) scored 12 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Galatasaray have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 24-3 record. Newly promoted Gaziantep keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost. Galatasaray are looking forward to face Banvit BK (#3) in Balikesir in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Gaziantep will play on the road against Antalya (#15) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
