We should mention about the upset which took place in Balikesir, where higher ranked Bandirma Kir. (16-17) lost at home to fourteenth ranked Pi Koleji (14-19) 64-80. The game without a history. Pi Koleji led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Bandirma Kir.'s 32. Latvian center Kaspars Kambala (206-78, college: UNLV, agency: Alti Sport) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds for the winning side and American swingman Vincent Grier (195-83, college: Minnesota) accounted for 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Pi Koleji players scored in double figures. Forward Tufan Onen (202-89) came up with 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-91) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Bandirma Kir. in the defeat. Bandirma Kir.'s coach Selcuk Ernak rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Pi Koleji moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Final Genclik and Baskent Genclik. Bandirma Kir. at the other side keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost.
