The game without a history. UMMC Ekaterinburg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. UMMC Ekaterinburg outrebounded Spartak Vidnoye 46-34 including 30 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Candace Parker (193-86, college: Tennessee) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and French center Sandrine Gruda (193-87) chipped in 15 points and 14 rebounds. At the losing side American power forward Candice Dupree (188-84, college: Temple, agency: LBM Management) responded with 14 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import Seimone Augustus (183-84, college: LSU) scored 13 points. Spartak Vidnoye's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
