Telekom Baskets (18-16) survived in overtime against Bayern Muenchen (21-13) by five points 103-98. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bayern Muenchen. It looked good early as Bayern Muenchen took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Telekom Baskets had a 26-21 second period charge getting the lead. Then Bayern Muenchen managed to tie the game at the end of regular time, but lost overtime period 15-20. Telekom Baskets made 23-of-29 charity shots (79.3 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Bayern Muenchen was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jared Jordan (188-84, college: Marist) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 assists. Guard David McCray (188-86) contributed with 21 points for the winners. American point guard Tyrese Rice (185-87, college: Boston Coll., agency: Priority Sports) replied with 21 points (made all of his thirteen free throws !!!) and his fellow American import Chevon Troutman (202-81, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Beo Basket) added 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Bayern Muenchen. Five Telekom Baskets and four Bayern Muenchen players scored in double figures. Bayern Muenchen's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Telekom Baskets moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Phoenix Hagen. Bayern Muenchen at the other side keeps the fourth position with 13 games lost.
