Very expected game when 9th ranked Vestel (17-17) lost to fifth ranked Maliye Milli (22-12) in Ankara 70-86 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Maliye Milli. Vestel was better in fourth quarter 17-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for American guard Zach Graham (198-89, college: Mississippi) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. Forward Cihad Sahin (203-83) contributed with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Kerem Ozkan (201-88, agency: EM-PA) replied with 14 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Soykan Yikilmaz (185-92) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Vestel. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Maliye Milli moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Akhisar Bld. Vestel lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 17 games lost.
