TBL top team - Galatasaray (26-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixteenth ranked Hacettepe (5-24) in Ankara 104-69. The game without a history. Galatasaray led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Galatasaray had a 31-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage. Galatasaray players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The former international swingman Cenk Akyol (198-87) stepped up and scored 19 points for the winners and international point guard Ender Arslan (190-83) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists. The former international center Huseyin Besok (212-75) responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds and American point guard Courtney Eldridge (176-80, college: NC-Greensboro, agency: Alti Sport) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Hacettepe's coach Alp Bayramoglu gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the sixteenth consecutive win for Galatasaray. They maintain first place with 26-3 record. Hacettepe at the other side stay dead last with 24 lost games. Galatasaray will play against Turk Telekom (#14) in Ankara in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Hacettepe will play on the road against Antalya and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
