Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Tofas and 10th ranked Erdemir had identical 11-18 record. But Erdemir was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Bursa 79-70 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-70. American power forward Joshua Heytvelt (210-86, college: Gonzaga) scored 26 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import Austin Nichols (200-82, college: Humboldt St.) chipped in 16 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was naturalized Serbian center Emre Bayav (212-87) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 19 rebounds and American swingman Sean Marshall (198-85, college: Boston Coll.) scored 22 points and 4 assists. Erdemir's coach Ozhan Civgin let to play ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tofas maintains eighth position with 12-18 record, which they share with Gaziantep. Erdemir lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 19 games lost.
