The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Ataman won fourth quarter 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ural Ekaterinburg made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Ataman was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Anton Glazunov (182-86) nailed 21 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and forward Dmitri Nikolaev (200-83) accounted for 15 points and 9 rebounds. Center Alexey Kurtsevich (209-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard Andrey Mateyunas (180-88) added 12 points, 6 assists and 6 steals respectively for Ataman in the defeat. Four Ataman players scored in double figures. Ataman's coach Mikhail Karpenko let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
